Sue is the director of The Yoga Place Melbourne. Coming from a family upbringing in Buddhism, and as a medical doctor, and neuroscience researcher, she hopes to empower every member of our community to achieve happiness and lead a healthy lifestyle! She has an interest in the beneficial effects of the vibrational frequency of sound and meditation on our mind and body, and has learnt from monks and spiritual healers throughout the years. With a background of a grade 7 in practical and theoretical music in piano from the Association Board of the Royal Schools of Music, she specialises in crystal bowl harmonisation and Tibetan bowl sound healing. She is also trained in yoga therapy by renown yoga gurus and therapists, Nicky Knoff and Lois Nesbitt, and her biggest mentor is her mum, a devoted Buddhist and yoga practitioner. She is currently undertaking a board certification in lifestyle medicine, and leads our lifestyle, nutrition and exercise program at The Yoga Place Melbourne.
