Shannon moved to Melbourne from San Francisco, California after spending the last year traveling around the world bringing affordable and accessible yoga to people in some unexpected places, including Tanzania, South Africa and India where she received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.
Shannon found yoga when she was just 16 years old and has been practicing ever since. What first was a way to supplement her exercise routine and maintain flexibility became an integral part of her well being and lifestyle. When she was 21 years old she became extremely ill. She found relief in yoga and was able to maintain her mental health through her practice. This experience taught her how powerful yoga truly is and since then she has wanted to bring yoga to others in order to help them learn and grow.
Shannon teaches in order to prevent injury and provides various options for students of all levels. Her classes are a combination of modern Vinyasa Flow and traditional Hatha and Ashtanga practices. Shannon’s classes will leave you feeling invigorated and grounded.
