Kavita Shah

Growing up in India with a passion in Bollywood dancing, Kavita later embarked on her personal yoga journey when she took up yoga and the preachings of Patanjali. Over the years, she has realised that yoga has helped her grow as a person to who she is today. As a dental surgeon, she has helped patients get over mental health issues including depression, anxiety and stress, by applying holistic dental therapy approaches that combines life management counselling and yogic practices. Meditation, yogic therapy and vinyasa flow are her daily routine in life, and she hopes to bring about a positive change in everyone she meets through her teachings.

Kavita teaches Vinyasa, Slow Flow and Prenatal classes, and leads our Prenatal Yoga and Beginners Yoga courses at The Yoga Place Melbourne.
