Our yoga studio offers yogis and yoginis a beautiful and comfortable studio space spanning over 250 square metres, and is finished with an eco-friendly white cork floor and natural timber flooring. Our Ganesha studio is 170 square metres. It is well ventilated with fresh air from windows and roof vents. ​The building is heritage-listed, being constructed in the late 1800's. Despite being constructed in 19-century, The Yoga Place is a 21-century yoga studio, with a modern split system of heating/cooling to ensure the comfort of our yoga practitioners. 

We occupy the first floor c.1875 at 203 Victoria Street, West Melbourne, 100 metres west of Peel Street and the Queen Victoria Market.  Conveniently located in the heart of West Melbourne and North Melbourne, and on three tram lines (55, 57, 58) which service William Street and Elizabeth Street, it is only 7 minutes from Flinders Street and is in the Free Tram Zone at the edge of Melbourne CBD.

Nestled in the heart of West Melbourne and Melbourne CBD next to the Queen Victoria Market, our yoga studio is an oasis of tranquility in the midst of a busy city. The Yoga Place offers a quiet retreat to practice yoga and meditation. Practice yoga in a large, airy space with exposed brick walls, a high ceiling and plenty of natural sunlight, all of which creates a soothing and welcoming ambience, perfect for yoga.


We offer over 30 yoga classes a week in a wide variety of styles ranging from meditative and yin yoga to the more dynamic and challenging vinyasa, yogalates and pilates. Our yoga classes cater for all levels from beginners practising for the very first time to experienced yogis. Additionally, we offer masterclasses and workshops in yoga therapy, prenatal yoga, health assesments, and much more!
